How to request deletion
1. Open the secure BizUApp account-deletion portal.
2. Sign in with the email address and password of the BizUApp account you want to delete.
3. The portal first checks whether a deletion request already exists.
4. If no request exists yet, you must explicitly confirm that you want to request account deletion.
5. The deletion request is submitted only after that confirmation.
The secure portal does not allow you to enter a user ID manually and does not provide administrator deletion functions.
What happens after you submit the request?
BizUApp uses an existing backend-controlled deletion process.
Before deletion can be completed, the system checks whether there are any conditions that still need to be resolved. For example, relevant active or future bookings may first need to be cancelled or otherwise resolved.
Depending on the status of the account, your deletion request may:
- remain pending while blockers are being resolved;
- require manual review;
- become eligible for final deletion.
A status indicating that the account is eligible for deletion does not mean that the deletion has already been completed. Final deletion is carried out only through BizUApp’s existing backend deletion process.
What happens to your data?
When account deletion is completed, BizUApp deletes or anonymises account data in accordance with the applicable deletion and retention rules.
A limited exception applies to the legal evidence recording acceptance of the BizUApp General Terms and acknowledgement of the BizUApp Privacy Notice. After account deletion has been completed, this registration-related legal evidence is retained exclusively in a restricted archive for 10 years from the date deletion was completed, for the approved evidentiary and accountability purposes.
This retained legal evidence is not used after deletion for authentication, account recovery, personalisation, analytics, marketing, or ordinary product use.
At the end of the retention period, the retained evidence and the remaining link to the data subject are permanently deleted, unless a concrete, documented, and temporary legal hold applies.
The 10-year period is BizU’s selected proportionate retention period and is not represented as a legally prescribed retention period under the GDPR or Belgian law.
